The quickest way to reach the person who runs Flag Maker is the feedback form.
The same button sits next to the downloads in the flag maker. There is no public email address; every message comes through this form.
What you can write to us about
- A flag that draws wrong: a cross off-centre, an emblem in the wrong place, a colour that doesn’t match the code you typed.
- A download that fails, or a file that opens differently in another program, a print shop or Hearts of Iron IV.
- A button that doesn’t work, or a page that looks broken on your phone, tablet or computer.
- A layout, emblem, ratio or file format you need and the flag maker doesn’t have yet.
- A privacy request: to ask what we hold, or to have a feedback message deleted. The privacy policy explains what to include.
Useful things to include
- For a flag that looks wrong: press Copy link in the Download section and paste the link into your message. It reopens your exact design, so we see what you saw. (Uploaded pictures aren’t in links; describe them instead.)
- For a download problem: the format and size you picked, and the program or game you opened the file in.
- For a problem on a phone or computer: the device and browser, and what you pressed just before.
What happens next
Every message is read. Flags that draw wrong are checked first and, if we can reproduce them, fixed with a test so they don’t come back. We can’t reply to messages that don’t include a way to reach you, so if you’d like an answer, say how to reach you in the message. We don’t print flags and can’t recommend printers.
Your privacy
The form stores your message, this site’s domain, the page you sent it from (without your design) and the time, plus a short-lived hashed form of your network address used only to cap messages at 10 an hour. Please don’t send passwords, payment details or anything else private. The privacy policy explains exactly what is stored and for how long.
